Getting a 1/4, 1/2 or Whole Specialty Beef from Ponderosa Partnership
Ordering from Ponderosa Partnership is like having your own personal butcher. Buying directly from your local rancher can be as small as a quarter beef that will fit into your home freezer or go bigger for your best value with a half or whole beef.
Getting Your Best Value.
Our staff has worked hard to make sure you can get the most value for your money. The chart below shows local meat prices based on choice quality beef reported on 7/12/2018. This chart demonstrates that when purchasing your beef through retail outlets you would spend nearly $1,000 more when purchasing a whole beef worth of meat. These numbers are based off of a 1600 lb steer, with a 790 lb carcass.
Custom Cut Package (You pay by the pound for Hanging Weight, and pay processing)
Our "custom cut package" allows you to have specific requests when it comes to processing; how thick, how many per package, etc.
Whole Beef - $3.50/lb
1/2 Beef - $4.00/lb
Premium Cut Package (You pay by the pound for Final Packaged Product)
Our “premium cut package” is the result of years of research and working with customers to determine the types of cuts everyone likes and expects from a specialty beef package.
Whole Beef - $5.50/lb
1/2 Beef - $6.35/lb
Our premium cut is so popular that many of our custom cut packages go that route too. But if you have specific requests all of our custom cut prices allow you to do this. That’s where you get to tell your processor exactly what you want, how thick, how many per package, etc.. It’s easier than you think, and you’ll learn a lot about where different types of meat come from and the types of meals that you can prepare.
To help make your order simple, get to know the beef chart and see the cuts included in our “Premium Cut”. Again, the “premium cut” is just a suggested starting point, how you want it cut and wrapped is up to you, with our able assistance of course, whenever you need it.
